Aubrey O’Day of Danity Kane used to really annoy me when she used to say” “I’m the pretty girl of the group”! It drove me insane because I thought the group really was average looking and yes she may have been the best looking of a very mediocre looking group of young women.  Which meant that she was just cute herself…not a Jessica Alba or anything “Hot” but these  photos look great! In honor of Michael Jackson’s legacy he was remembered on, what would have been his 51st birthday, Saturday August 29th.

Spike Lee put together a celebration worthy of a king in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. Despite the rain, hundreds even thousands of people stood  to listen to MJ’s music, watch intimatations of his dance moves, and listen to  speeches given by public figures such as Reverend Al Sharpton.

According to eye witnesses it was truly a celebration they will not forget.

The other day Media Fakeout.com did an article stating Lisa only wanted her kids back for the show.   She responded in her globalgrind.com blog below:

Hi Global Grind world!

It’s always exciting for me to connect with new people.  We are four episodes into the new season of Real Housewives of Atlanta and I have been doing so many interviews.  I can say it’s refreshing to blog and actually share my own point of view without the media spin on it.

I am happy to say that I have garnered some favorable media coverage this season. And, I genuinely appreciate the love and support from fans and the media alike.

But, I have to say that I am thoroughly disappointed by irresponsible sites like MediaTakeOut.com.

They just post any and everything without checking facts or ever speaking directly to the parties they are posting about. This week they said that I am fighting to have my sons appear on my show.

Nothing could be further from the truth. I have and always will have my three sons (EJ, Justin & Jordan) best interest at heart. I am in on-going legal litigation with the father of my two oldest sons’ and we are working through it for the sake of our children.

But, through it all…I have Ed, the most supportive husband on the planet. So, trust me. there is a lot of prayer going on in our home. And, we know everything will work itself out. So, in spite of irresponsible journalism.. TRUTH will always prevail.

I look forward to blogging more and keep watching Real Housewives of Atlanta!

Also, stay tuned for my Closet Freak Clothing Line debut and speaking engagements possibly in your city!

It is official that DJ AM IS DEAD from a possible drug overdose.

According to the TMZ report a friend tried to reach him after no luck for 2 days. They called the police and the police knocked down his door to find him dead; surrounded by drugs. He was found this afternoon around approximately 5:20pm in his Manhattan Apartment.

This guys survived a deadly plane crash last year along with Travis Barker and now he basically gave up his life to drugs….sad, sad! RIP DJ AM!

The coroner released part of their report today.  It revealed the details of his toxicology report.  The report found several drugs in his system.  The cause of death was determined to be “accute propofol intoxication.”  Other drugs found in his system: Atican, Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine, and Ephedrine.  The full report was not released.  I’m sure there’s more to come with this story!

NEW YORK (AP) — Director Spike Lee’s Brooklyn public celebration of Michael Jackson’s birthday has been moved amid predictions of a big crowd.

The free bash will be held in the Nethermead meadow in Prospect Park on Saturday afternoon, rain or shine. It originally was planned for Fort Greene Park.

The New York Times reported Friday that the initial crowd estimate of 2,000 swelled to more than 10,000.

The paper says the Rev. Al Sharpton will say a prayer at the party. President Marty Markowitz will present a proclamation declaring Aug. 29 Michael Jackson Day in Brooklyn. DJ Spinna will play all things Michael Jackson.

A 23 yr. old shirtless Atlanta man jumps through the window of a school bus and overtakes the driver. He then leaves the wheel while the bus is plowing down a steep hill to chase after the driver!  The kids start jumping out the back door of the bus before it starts speeding up to fast.    By the time people watching caught up with the bus, it had plowed threw a fence and hit a brick wall.    So, they pull him out of the bus and he is butt ball naked!  They go to turn him over and he has on a condom?!  He was laying there with nothing on but a condom…

Thankfully, no one was injured during this bizarre incident!

TIMELINE HERE:

Both suspect and victim were seen entering her Mercedes at the San Diego Hilton at 2:30 AM on the morning of August 14 — it’s believed they were at a poker party at the Hilton. Jasmine was never seen again. Later that morning, Jenkins was seen leaving the L’Auberge Del Mar — the hotel where they were staying at in San Diego — at 9:20 AM. The next time he was seen on video was at 5 PM at his residence in Los Angeles.

This is the big mystery … where was Jasmine when Ryan was seen checking out of the L’Auberge?

Cops say Ryan possibly assaulted her in the vehicle near Corona — 96 miles north of San Diego — between the hours of 11 AM and 2 PM. The car possibly went off road during the assault. The area where the car went off road may be where he assaulted her further. The next day she was found in the trash. A witness saw Ryan in Buena Park near the area where her body was dumped.

They say the Corona area is of interest because her suitcase and other remains may be in that area.

Another question: Could she have been killed before Ryan was seen leaving the L’Auberge? Ryan could have used the “off road” area near Corona to remove her teeth and fingertips, ect.

A prelimary report by the coroner says she was killed by strangulation. Some sort of violent act occurred in her Mercedes. Cops say she was either killed in the car or at the hotel.

A bladed sharp instrument was used to cut her fingertips off, they don’t know exactly what.

The severing of her fingers was definitely done post-mortem. Her nose was broken and she sustained head injuries. Pliers could have been used to pull her teeth out. There were fragments of her teeth in the suitcase.

Cops say it was a domestic violence case gone bad … and it was all over “jealousy.” They would not specify further.

Jasmine’s Mercedes was abandoned 1.3 miles from Ryan and Jasmine’s residence in Los Angeles.

Cops say there’s evidence there was flailing of arms consistent with a struggle inside the Mercedes. Cops say the Royal Canadian Mounted Police have not been very forthcoming with evidence found at the motel where Jenkins killed himself … including whether or not there was a suicide not.

Jenkins suitcase — the one he left the L’Auberge with — was found in a storage facility in Washington state. Cops say one of the suitcases he left the hotel with similar in size and color to one Jasmine was found inside.

Cops say Ryan had no help from anyone in California. They say Ryan drove to Nevada then up to Washington.

Cops say there was no evidence of sexual assault on Jasmine.

Last night Ludacris promotes at Door 44 for the Launch  of his new drink Conjure, introduced by Luda at the wine and spirits trade show Vinexpo in Bordeaux this week, is a collaboration between the hip hop star and Birkedal Hartmann’s  master blender, Philippe Braastad Tiffon.

“I wanted to learn as much as possible,” said Luda of his week long tutorial with Tiffon. “It was great. It gave me a new appreciation for cognac.”

Hartmann is prepared to ship as much Conjure cognac as possible at $34.99 dollars per bottle. “My wish is to reach one million cases,” he tells AP.

ESPN.com has announced that sources close to Michael Vick are saying that the Quarterback will play in the first quarter of tonight’s preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
