Update: DMX Backs out of Fight being sued for $1 Million
Update: We just got email word from Thunder Promotions rep Rod Ricciardi who states: “DMX manager after agreeing, signing and receiving a deposit for DMX to participate in the fight, called me weeks later and demanded that we fixed the fight to guarantee DMX would win the fight. I told her no, I could not do that. After DMX failed to show up for the boxing event press conference on Nov 20, and refused to return the initial deposit we filed suit. We’ve moved on and have contracted hip hop’s great Coolio to fight on Dec 12th in Birmingham and he will also put on performances on Dec 11th for his fans. He has been a great, professional guy to work with.” DMX’s Publicist Pam Pinnock could not be reached for a statement. Sources say that DMX may be liable for $1 Million Dollars for backing out of a celebrity fight scheduled for the end of the December; he’s being sued. No information on why he backed out yet we’re awaiting full details from his publicist. We will update as soon as we hear.
Apparently our boy X needs better management asap as we all know a good manager is essential to a healthy lucrative career. We know that DMX has been in a slump for a minute. FIRE THAT MANAGER X!
