Fox has now released the schedule for the ninth season of American Idol. They have however made some changes to the show. Returning will be the old format of 24 semifinalists, while the Wild Card round is being eliminated.
The ninth season is set to premiere over the course of two consecutive nights with a two-hour broadcast on Tuesday, January 12 and a 75-minute broadcast on Wednesday, January 13, both beginning at 8pm ET.

A 6 year-old in Salem, IN was in the mood for giving. He took $10,000 from his grandparents safe and started giving it away to the children at school. He had already given away about $300 on the school bus, on the way to school when the kids told teachers what he was doing. The police was notified and they discovered the remaining cash on him. It’s a mystery how he got into the safe in the first place. They might want to get that thing replaced, if a six year old can break in it!

A woman in Atlanta had to take a pit bull out for jumping on her daughter. Apparently, they went to visit a friend. When they opened the door, their dog leaped on the 12 year-old girl and started attacking her. The Mother found a brick nearby and started pounding the dog in the head to no avail. Its not clear where the knife came from, but she ultimately stabbed the dog death. Needless to say, she saved her daughter’s life, who is due to be released from the hospital today.
Tila Tequila announced on her Twitter page yesterday that she is pregnant! She is actually going to be a surrogate Mother for her Brother and his wife. That is a great Christmas gift for them. IF IT’S TRUE!
