Stop talkin shit about Adam Lambert’s performance!
Friday, November 27th, 2009This is my last and final comment about the Adam Lambert AMA’s performance. As usual, this whole thing is being blown out of proportion. For the fans, who want to call everyone in sight homophobes and accuse Adam of being unfairly criticized because he is gay…
He is not the first racy performer to go through the ringer. Janet Jackson, a icon in music, was drug through the mill for pulling a tittie out at the Superbowl. They even tried to sue her for the FCC fines. She was practically put out of business for her stunt. Notice there are no live Superbowl shows anymore?
Remember, Brittney, Christina, and Madonna’s hot kiss? They were still outraged and up in arms about that tongue swap. We had to hear about that for months.
So my point. Adam is not a victim, nor is he being overly scrutinized because he is gay. He shoved a man’s head into his crouch, fingered a lady, and kissed a dude in the middle of what was suppose to be a musical performance. He went overboard and it was inappropriate for regular television. Plain and simple. Now get off your blogs whining and complaining about how he has been unfairly treated because he is gay. He is a great artist, let this be a learning lesson for him. Don’t worry about the homophobes, concentrate on his fans. We want to hear him sing!
Stop pulling the gay card people!
