Kandi sits down with singer Sunshine Anderson who had a hit song with her female anthem “Heard It All Before.” The ladies catch up on where life has taken them and Sunshine reveals she spiraled into a deep depression after her song was nominated for a Grammy and she WASN’T!!!Sunshine tells Kandi that her father was responsible for bringing her out of her depression when he told her, “if the damn ship sinks, are you going to go down with it?” Kandi then reveals that she battled depression while in middle school.
Being Sheree Whitfield’s divorce attorney is apparently hazardous to the bottom line.
“The Real Housewives of Atlanta” cast member allegedly owes two separate law firms more than $180,000 in divorce-related fees.
She first hired Levine & Smith as her divorce attorney in 2006 against her now former husband and NFL player Bob Whitfield.
In early 2009, Steve Montalto of Levine & Smith sued Sheree, saying she owed him more than $87,000 in unpaid fees related to her divorce. That situation has not been resolved yet, based on recent court filings.
In an interview today, Montalto said she has “ignored and stonewalled any effort to respond to post-judgment discovery about her assets and income,” he said.
He has asked a judge to force her to respond and to threaten her with incarceration. “She thinks she’s above the law,” Montalto said. He also has liens against Bob, her ex husband, which he has ignored.
Her next divorce attorney, Weinstock & Scavo, began working with her in 2007.
On June 10, the firm filed a civil lawsuit in Fulton County Superior Court for $96,190.18 in fees related to her divorce. (Interest, the lawsuit said, amounted to $18,709.07 of that total.)
The impetus for this lawsuit came after Bob Whitfield sold property in Atlanta last October. He wrote in court documents that he needed to sell the property to finish paying off his original $775,000 divorce settlement agreement with Whitfield he signed in 2005.
Weinstock & Scavo recorded a lien on March 19, 2009 in favor of the firm for unpaid attorneys’ fees and expenses owed by Sheree. The law firm claimed Bob Whitfield and the people buying his property were aware of the unpaid attorney’s lien but chose to ignore it.
In citing breach of contract, the law firm said “Ms. Whitfield has acted in bad faith, has been stubbornly litigious and has caused W&S unnecessary trouble and expense entitling W&S to an award of attorneys’ fees and costs of litigation in connection with this case.”
According to TMZ another “celebrity” sex tape is about to hit the market — and this time, the people distributing the footage claim the star is Danielle Staub from “Real Housewives of New Jersey.”
Hustler Inc. tells us it is all set to distribute a 75 minute tape, featuring Jersey’s most hated Housewife — and mother of two — in a naked romp with a mystery man.
A rep from Hustler tells us the tape was shot last September — several months after 47-year old Staub first appeared on the Bravo reality show. The tape is set to be released on June 14.
Audio of Greg Leakes, husband of Nene Leakes of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, was leaked on LargeFM.com yesterday, and Greg, who has since admitted it was him on the tape, can be heard viciously bashing his wife Nene.
Our Sources tell us Greg borrowed some money from Dwight Eubanks and that’s why him and NeNe got into that big argument a couple of months back at that 5 star hotel in Atlanta.The money helped Greg take him and Nene’s house out of foreclosure. Greg however began avoiding Dwight when he couldn’t pay him back. This led to Corey King a radio host calling Greg and secretly taping their convo out of revenge. The conversation was then leaked online yesterday. Other news outlets are reporting that the radio host gave them the money but we were told months back that Dwight was the one who actual gave it to them.
In the phone conversation, Greg shares that he plans on divorcing Nene and that the Atlanta Housewives fame has gone to her head. “I put $300,000 of my own money for [NeNe] to become a housewife. Without that, she wouldn’t be sh*t . . . She’s going to give me every dime of my $300,000 back,” said an angry Greg.
It seems Greg also intends to get spousal support from Nene, who is now the breadwinner of the family, thanks to her Bravo income.
Greg also phoned in to Kandi Burruss’s internet radio show yesterday night, and admitted it was him on the tape. Sources share that Nene heard the conversation yesterday and was livid. She’s apparently planning on beating Greg to the divorce filing.
Eric Snow filed divorce papers in Fulton County Superior Court on Wednesday. The two have been married for 12 years but are currently separated. They live in Alpharetta.
There is “no hope of reconciliation,” the court papers state.
In the documents, Eric Snow has requested that he and DeShawn Snow have joint custody oftheir three children, Eric Javon Snow; Darius Michael Snow; and Jarren Christopher Snow.
Things are really heating up on this season of Real Housewives of Atlanta, It is being said that Miss Nene Leakes is separated from her husband Greg and has moved on to some one whose in a better financial situation. A NFL player Charles Grant and if you recall when her and Kim got into that big fight last season, Kim put her on front street a couple of times about her cheating on Greg with this same dude…So we can believe it.
Making major headlines for crashing the recent White House State dinner is Michaele Salahi and her husband Tareq Salahi. The story gets even juicier as it turns out Michaele is one of the housewives that has been cast to be in the upcoming Bravo series – The Real Housewives of D.C.
It gets even better as Bravo cameras were there filming Michaele and her husband crashing the party. Other party goers recalled seeing Michaele step out of her car with a camera crew and a make up artist to touch up on she and her husband’s faces. Interestingly, this still failed to raise any red flags.
Having gotten away with what seems to be the impossible wasn’t good enough for Michaele, as she then proceeded to post photos from the event on her Facebook. This raised some red flags as there were no photos of her seated at the state dinner. Reports reveal she and her husband left before it was time to get seated.
Dwight Eubanks is not “relaxing” about the “Good Hair” Bad Hair movie. He is straightening the kinks in this brutal portrayal of black hair salons. He has joined forces with hair industry professionals in forming a committee known as “Glamour Force (Focused Opportunity Reciprocating Collectively Enterprises)”. Their goal is to empower and enlighten everyone about black hair. After seeing the movie, many of the stylists’ were disturbed by the negative depictions of the services offered in black salons. Dwight is making it clear he is disturbed personally as a stylist and is insulted at the mockery that was made of black salons. Despite of going into the movie with an open mind, he came out feeling disappointed and betrayed by the movie industry for releasing this inaccurate documentary! A notably disturbing part of the movie for Eubanks, was the insistence that perms are bad and causes scalp burns, breakage, and is damaging to hair. Their understanding of the effects of perms is uneducated and irresponsible. This unfounded statement can cause a stylist thousands of dollars in revenues each year. The majority of their clients come into salons for perms. If they are made to believe perms are bad, they may decide to go natural and eliminate their stylist. Furthermore, to imply that a stylist would knowingly do anything to damage a clients scalp or hair is despicable.
"The Purple Door"
Ralph Ochoa, a stylist and committee member felt the movie was from the 1970’s prospective. It did not visit one upscale salon throughout the entire movie. There are different levels of services available, from the basic to the elite. It goes without saying, your economic level determines the type of service you will receive. Dwight’s salon “The Purple Door” is amongst the elite. He uses top of the line products and hair techniques. The movie showed lower level salons that aren’t able to use higher grade products, therefore rendering inferior results. So in a nutshell, it is like calling all black people “ghetto”. It is this unfair generalization that has ignited the wrath of Dwight and his committee “Glamour Force”. Charles Gregory a “Glamour Force” member felt not visiting higher end salons was a disservice to the documentary.
The Purple Door
Dwight found nothing positive in the movie. However, committee members Brittianca and Al Scott were able to see some positives. Scott found the movie educational and tried not to focus on the negative. Brittianca felt this would be a great opportunity to give a wake up call to the black community. The black hair care industry is a billion dollar a year industry and the majority of the businesses profiting are not black. Nor, is this money going back into the black community. She feels blacks should learn from the movie and start empowering themselves.
Dwight pointed out the movie was supposed to serve as a documentary about black hair. However, they failed to mention the most prominent force in the history of black hair care. Madame C.J. Walker was not mentioned one time in the movie. She was the first black female millionaire in the United States from her hair care products. We must put to rest the negative connotation associated with black tresses. Dwight has taken the first step.

Umm did we miss something? The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion was really really quiet. The entire season was truly blah seriously and the reunion was just “DEAD” no pun intended. I just think maybe this show has run its course…no fire, no spunk, no nothing. The most interesting thing was hearing Kandi’s discovery of A.J.’s death, but we’re tired of hearing about that by now. RIP A.J., but i guess that unfortunately was the highlight of the show. Maybe Part 2 will be better – we hope

In a recent interview with Essence, Sheree reveals her plans to relocate, talks about her fashion line, and whether she’d be back for the third season.
Below are excerpts from Sheree’s new interview:
ESSENCE.COM: Congrats on your first fashion show in New York. What did you take away from the experience? SHEREE WHITFIELD: It was amazing. It was my way to test my line in the New York market, the world’s fashion capital. I got a lot of positive feedback and support from the fashion industry. You really have to be hands on. I feel like I need to move to New York to really be there. I tried here in Atlanta and it really did not work and it went well in New York, but I had to go back and forth a lot. I love it in New York and would love to live there and still keep a place in Atlanta when I want to slow down.
ESSENCE.COM: Back in Atlanta you had a little help from Dwight with your other show. SHEREE WHITFIELD: Working with Dwight was okay, but it came off like he did a lot more than he did. He came in on the last week and had some great ideas, but I also had some people in from New York working on it already. We pulled it off and it was awesome. I saw what he was saying in the confessional and was like, “Wow, you didn’t do this by yourself, honey.”
ESSENCE.COM: During your appearance on “Ellen,” you and Kim went at it. Any chance you’ll mend your friendship? SHEREE WHITFIELD: That piece of trash! Kim loves attention. TV made me and Kim’s relationship seem different than it was. She and I were never friends. I don’t believe in messing with married men. If she can do that to someone else, she’s no one that I would ever really hang out with. She’s on TV and doesn’t feel bad messing with a married man. How dumb can you be? Those vows are sacred.
ESSENCE.COM: Work it! On a serious note, we were so sorry to hear of the passing of Kandi’s former fiance AJ. Have you been in touch with her? SHEREE WHITFIELD: I was in Jamaica with a friend of mine and AJ’s when I got the news. I sent Kandi my condolences and let her know I was praying for her and there for her and his family. She immediately text me back. She is such a sincere person and has a kind heart. She has been going through a lot, as you’ve seen on the show. I made sure I was at the funeral to show her my support. I think that everyone realizes that nothing is promised. I want to live a happy, positive life and live it to the fullest. Enjoy the people in your life while you can.
ESSENCE.COM: Definitely. So, are you still the queen bee of the cast and would you do another season? SHEREE WHITFIELD: That’s definitely still my character. However, this season they have honed in on different aspects of my personality as well. As for another a season, I probably would.
US magazine is reporting that Bethenny Frankel is being replaced on the show. She is being replaced by Socialite Sonja Morgan . Bethenny, the author of the New York Times bestseller Naturally Thin, was confirmed by Bravo earlier this week to be getting her own show. Her new Bravo reality series will follow her as she attempts to balance her career and love life.
Nene Leakes talks about how she use to be a stripper:
Nene proceeds to explain her reasons for stripping, “[I stripped] for the sake of my son, and to restore my confidence in myself,” she explains. “My son was in private school, his father wasn’t chipping in for pull-ups or food, I had no job and no money coming in, the rent was past due, and the super told me and my roommate that our condo owner was about to put us out. It was about survival.”
The ex-stripper, who referred to herself as Silk during her dancing days as a twentysomething year old – admits that she liked the power that came with being a stripper. “I could make $500 off one guy just by turning him on.” These men “were obviously there to see what I had, and I quickly realized that those men weren’t there to make me feel bad about myself.”

TMZ took photo’s of Kim Zolciak and the famous “Big Poppa” for the first time. This picture was taken last November in the Bahamas. The second picture is “Big Poppa “( Lee Najjar) and his wife Kim Najjar.
In case you didn’t know, Lee Najjar is a famous real estate mogul in Atlanta.

Why is Kelly Rowland from Destiny’s Child on a reality show called: “The Fashion Show”? What does she know about FASHION? She is the co-host with Famous Fashion Designer Issac Mizrahi..this show looks or she looks sooo uncomfortable, unnatural and like she just doesn’t belong there.
