It would have been the kingpin’s 45t h birthday….this is truly bizarre and if true very disappointing that a guy in diddy’s status would pay tribute to a drug kingpin.

“We are so excited!” Bentley — who first rose to fame when he was photographed holding Diddy‘s umbrella — told Us Wednesday.
The singer, author and reality star (From G’s to Gents) proposed to actress Faune Chambers (who co-starred with Brad Pitt in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button) on December 2009 near their Atlanta hometown.

He got down on one knee with a 3-carat asscher-cut diamond from NYC’s Ozuro Fine Jewelry.
“I tricked her! She thought it would happen on Christmas but I did it right before New Year’s,” Bentley tells Us. “She said yes and I was so excited. Afterward, she kept wanting to call and tell her mother and I told her not to – because then we walked into a restaurant where my parents and her parents were waiting. We all had lunch and then I walked them all back to show them where I proposed.”

The nation’s biggest department-store chain – which lately has scored exclusives with brands including Tommy Hilfiger and Martha Stewart — will begin selling Sean John sportswear exclusively in spring 2011.Sean John – the clothing label founded by hip-hop entrepreneur Sean “Diddy” Combs – has signed an exclusive distribution deal with Macy’s.

“I got my start at Macy’s when I was 16, selling shirts and ties,” Combs told The Post in an interview today. “To come full circle like this is a dream come true.”

Combs and Macy’s CEO Terry Lundgren declined to specifically discuss the terms of the agreement. But in response to a question from The Post, Combs said Sean John has “done more than $1 billion of business at Macy’s, and we plan to do a couple billion more.”

Macy’s initially will begin selling Sean John exclusively at 400 stores – or about half of its nationwide chain. But the line will eventually be rolled out to all stores, said Macy’s Chief Merchandising Officer Jeff Gennette.

“Frankly, we turn down 95 percent of the invitations we get to sell these brands exclusively,” Lundgren said, noting that commitments to exclusive distribution deals carry greater risks. “We are committed to make this the most successful launch we’ve had.”

Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather squared up

According reliable sources Diddy had to stop a fight between our Miami Brother Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather  in Vegas over the weekend. The story goes like this: “It all went down at the grand opening of Vanity nightclub in the Hard Rock Hotel — which was hosted by Diddy. We’re told Floyd Mayweather rolled over to the party to see Diddy, when he literally ran into rapper Rick Ross.

Sources tell TMZ one of the men “bumped” into the other man and their entourages immediately became “confrontational.”

But as things started to heat up, we’re told Diddy swooped in between the guys and calmed everyone down.

We called Mayweather’s camp for comment and his father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., told us there’s been beef between Floyd and Ross for a while because Ross has allegedly been, “talking s**t.”

We’re told both Mayweather Jr. and Ross eventually went back in the club and partied the rest of the night away without incident.

We met Dee Woods, former member of Danity Kane in Atlanta performing at a Ludacris sponsored event. She performed live starting out with snippets of past hits with Danity Kane then went into a full performance of some of her solo material which to me sounded very Danity Kane’ish. Nonetheless, she performed hard, strong and confident which is what you need to succeed as a solo artist! She has a great command of the stage and is a high energy performer. Her solo project is coming soon as well as an exclusive interview with us…her reps. did say that Dee has moved on and wants to focus  on her career, music and image not Diddy or Danity Kane.  We’re all for it..because if what she showed us this weekend on stage is just a taste then, we can’t wait to see the full album and tour!

We’re not sure what the heck Cassie was doing performing and partying at this “HOOD” club in Atlanta called: “Club Miami” it is literally “Hood” and we just thought someone like Cassie,  it wouldn’t be good for her “industry image”.  It’s almost like Rihanna showing up there or something just doesn’t make sense. We thought maybe she’d be at “Pure Atlanta” or “Velvet Room” nonetheless she looks great as usual and sources say that she was there to promote her new single: “Let’s Get Crazy”.

Mtv caught up with T-Pain recently and he went on about how he was ducking Diddy.  He is working on a few projects with him and he says Diddy can get aggressive at times.  He claims he tried changing his phone number a couple of times to get away from him. (He was joking!)  But, he did say Diddy is working on some stuff with his new Dirty Money group.  Pain says there will be a different concept to the album which is by the way the “Last Train to Paris” album.  This should be interesting and T-pain is crazy!  (The funny kind of crazy!)

Diddy has been accused of stealing a song off of someone else album. Kirby Shields alleges his song “I’m Just Getting Started” is “identical” to Day 26′s “Just Getting Started,” released in April.
Shields says the copycat track was produced by Christian Davis Stalnecker, the same producer he hired to work “exclusively” for him back in ’07.

Diddy Diddy Diddy, what a freakin Pity….where has our group Danity Kane gone? Oh, we know, it’s now Dirty Money…Y? Y? Y? Dawn of Dannity Kane is now apart of the new group “Dirty Money”. Diddy has a new album coming out in which this group will appear on along with features from Cassie.

They’ve banded together to create Diddy’s 5th studio album “Last Train to Paris,” which should be released by November 24th, 2009.

We’re not sure why Dawn didn’t go solo but this group thing is getting old.

According to the Detroit press, Mr. Combs owes back taxes on his popular Atlanta restaurant “Justin’s”.  He was slapped with a bill for $7, 373 in back taxes and a lien was filed against the restaurant in May.  A Comb’s spokesperson says they have taken care of the issue.  Apparently, the bills were being sent to the wrong location and that’s the reason they weren’t paid on time.  As of press time, a check has been mailed to the IRS to get them off his back!
